Abstract

The rapid acceleration of data-driven decision-making in the corporate sector demands a highly sophisticated analytical skillset from contemporary graduates. This paper explores the pedagogical value of integrating Tableau into the teaching of Business Analytics and Modelling, specifically examining its impact on undergraduate students within public higher learning institutions. In public higher learning, teaching methodologies must dynamically evolve to meet global workforce demands while managing diverse student demographics. Utilizing an action research framework, this study evaluates how hands-on training and visualization software alter student competencies, critical thinking, and confidence levels. The findings demonstrate that purposeful integration of visual analytics in teaching significantly minimizes technical data anxiety among students, improves dashboard self-efficacy, and expands workplace readiness. The study offers instructional frameworks for faculty members aiming to optimize curriculum design within public higher learning.
