Abstract

The Quran is a Kalamullah that has been revealed to the last Prophet Muhammad S.A.W was displayed with the most extraordinary and distinctive words so that in can touch ones’ heart deeply. Among the uniqueness which can be identified is from the context of the use of its words. Therefore, the objective of this article is to discover the beauty and excellence of the Qur'an through the word "al-mawt" and its vocabulary as it has been revealed to explore the miracles and the eminence of the word. This is because the word "al-mawt" and its vocabulary does not only mean death but also contains implied meanings that must be explored in order for the meanings to be identified. This article is a fully qualitative study that uses data collection and data analysis methods. This article collects and analyzes the word "al-mawt" as well as the vocabulary contained in the Qur'an. The findings of this article can identify the word "al-mawt" and the vocabulary that is not solely focused on one meaning but has some other meanings and this can also reveal the uniqueness and greatness of the word of the Quran that is full of fascinating beauty that can also educate and calm one’s soul.
