Abstract

This paper explores the growing trend of modest fashion and its intersection with Islamic art and design. It studies how Islamic artistic traditions have influenced contemporary clothing styles, particularly among Muslim women seeking to adhere to modesty guidelines while expressing their cultural and religious identity. Through an analysis of primary sources, including fashion collections, and observation through social media, this paper delves into the creative processes behind incorporating Islamic motifs, textiles, and techniques into modern fashion designs. By highlighting the role of Islamic art and design in shaping the global modest fashion movement, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of cultural influences on fashion trends and the evolving dynamics of identity expression in the fashion industry.
