Abstract

This conceptual paper highlights on the recent findings pertaining to the limitations of Artificial Intelligence (AI) writing assistant tools. This paper focuses on six (6) important outcomes as suggested by AI and being elaborate in supporting with existing literature. The literature also indicates that all six limitations being previously discussed as an issue in academic writing to be discovered by further analysis to highlight the importance of this phenomenon. Lacking AI in terms of Academic Rigor, Insufficient Knowledge Base, Inability to Synthesize Complex Ideas, Lack of Human Cognitive Abilities, Limited Adaptability, and Questionable Originality are among of the limitations that being emphasized in this paper. The paper also includes concise idea that content generated by AI is however when used exclusively, may have errors or inconsistencies that damage the work's credibility. As for recommendation, details of output must be also carefully examined since AI yet unable to properly provides perfect and error free analysis. Finally, this paper urge scholars to be extra careful with AI technology despite of has made significant advancements, it still falls short in fully comprehending the overall study context, nuances, and adhering to academic standards.
