Abstract

Hajj is one of Islam's Five Pillars and is considered a religious obligation for adult Muslims who are physically and financially capable of making the journey. E-hajj is a multimedia interactive learning aid especially designed for the deaf community to help Hajj’s pilgrims learn about this Hajj journey. This project highlights the integration of multimedia elements such as text, graphics, animation, video, and sign language video with the aim of improving teaching and enhancing learning experiences for the deaf community to learn about Hajj education. The objective of E-hajj is to improve and enhance the learning experience for the deaf community by using visual representation, sign language interpretation, and subtitles. By focusing on these objectives, E-hajj can effectively support the deaf community in their journey to learn about the Hajj, allowing them to gain deeper knowledge, understanding, and connection to this important religious practise. The project was conducted using the ADDIE method due to its nature and the phase, which suited and was highly compatible with the project.
