LABORATORY MANAGEMENT IN CHINESE UNIVERSITIES:BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS

Abstract

The laboratories of universities are important places for teaching and scientific research. As the scale of colleges and universities continues to expand, investment in laboratories is increasing, and the number of laboratory equipment and instruments is also increasing. Therefore laboratory management is very important. Introduce bibliometrics into the field of university laboratory management and conduct a visual analysis of the literature on laboratory management in Chinese universities. Using the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) database as the literature source, 1016 laboratory management documents were screened out. This article uses bibliometric tools to analyze the keywords and number of articles published in the past seven years. Through these analyses, we can find out the research status, research topics, and existing problems in Chinese university laboratories. The research results show that there are still many problems in university laboratory management. This study puts forward reasonable suggestions based on the existing problems, which is of great significance for future research on university laboratory management.
