ZAKAT DISTRIBUTION IN PAHANG STATE: ARE RECIPIENTS SATISFIED?

Abstract

This study was designed to explore satisfaction with receiving Zakat among Zakat recipients in the Raub Pahang area. In this qualitative study, semi-structured interviews with 10 Zakat recipients in the Asnaf community were conducted. After verbatim transcription, a qualitative analysis of recipient satisfaction among Asnaf was performed. The results show that all respondents who were interviewed were satisfied with the support they received. They certify that the assistance received can help ease the burden of expenses they face. Further study recommendations are specifically suggested at the end of the study
