Abstract

Interactive learning is needed to teach philosophy because it is considered a difficult subject for some students and requires a high understanding of the content. At the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Johor Branch, there is a website specifically used for facilitating students with various materials, information and activities regarding the subject of Philosophy and Current Issues, known as the CTU552-EAC. The implications of using this website as an interactive platform must be analyzed to make sure it is acceptable among students. Thus, this research aims to find out the relationship between the Learner-to-Content (LC) of managing unorganized information on the Website CTU552-EAC (WC) with Online Games (OG). All analyses of the data were conducted using version 25 of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). This study received 287 responses, and the data was analyzed using descriptive statistics such as mean and standard deviation, reliability tests such as Cronbach Alpha and normality tests, and validity tests. Additionally, the respondents need additional activities on a platform to help them understand the content. It is concluded that the platform initiates interactive learning among students in that university in learning the subject, as they may get the materials and information earlier and easier. They can also enhance their understanding of the subject through interactive activities and games. This study highlights the importance of interactive learning provided in various methods to teach difficult subjects like Philosophy, which requires a high level of thinking and understanding. The platform contains a variety of materials such as videos, slides and audio which are needed to provide students with an overview of the subject. It is acceptable that students in this era rely on digital content more than the older generations, which demands instructors to utilize any form of technology to facilitate learning sessions.
