FOOD SOUVENIRS BUYING BEHAVIOR AMONG TOURISTS
Abstract
Food is a significant component of a holiday among tourist. A detailed understanding on how the food become major or secondary attractive items for tourist will help to improve tourist satisfaction and repurchase intentions in many aspects. Bringing food from a trip can extend and enhance the experience of tourist. This conceptual study investigates the Food Souvenir Buying Behavior and indicates taste, quality, practicality, price and design of the packaging as the factors that influence the food souvenir buying behavior among the tourists. Apart from that, theoretical and practical perspectives are also included for future research advancement.
