Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of social media implementation on the development of small and medium enterprises, the influence of social media on improving MSME performance, and whether the use of social media affects MSME performance. The results of this study will be used by the government and MSME activists to find out the importance of social media in supporting the performance of micro, small, and medium enterprises. With social media, micro, small, and medium enterprises can disseminate information at a relatively low cost. The ability to share, communicate, and access information can affect business performance, but research on the use of social media on business performance, especially for MSMEs, is still limited.
