Abstract

This article uses library research to assess numerous aspects, including competency, training, and competitive advantage. Theory and relationships between variables are studied in literature searches using sources from books, related papers, and sources from Mendeley, Google Scholar, and other online media. In order to support the strategies that will be put in place to help create competency, training, and competitive advantage within a business, effective management of human resources (HR) must be taken into account. The analysis of the literature reveals a relationship between competency, training, and competitive advantage that may be used to evaluate businesses and institutions in a legitimate, fair, and transparent way. The outcomes of competency implementation can also support employee training programs and personal competitive advantages.
