Abstract

Work-from-home policies are regularly used because they are one of the most effective means of minimising physical contact in the workplace and reducing the development of COVID-19. Working from home adds another layer of stress to an already difficult situation for both businesses and individuals. Several studies have found that working from home has both beneficial and negative impacts. Working from home, pandemic or not, has grown as a new approach to accomplish business. Certain industries cannot function effectively when employees work from home. Many people are finding profitable home-based business possibilities. A detailed printed questionnaire was designed and given to 316 educators in Kelantan. The results imply that working from home really does have an interesting effect on employee motivation. Employees who worked from home were more motivated, which resulted in better job performance.
