IMPACT OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE ON THE PERFORMANCE OF NSS LISTED COMPANIES IN CHINA
Abstract
This research focuses on analyzing the governance on performance. The corporate governance factors include risk management, fairness, transparency, accountability, and responsibility. The result shows that internal stock ownership programs, stock subscription rights, and other management incentives assist firms by mitigating opportunistic behaviour. The study shows that good corporate governance is vital to upholding transparency, fairness, and accountability in stock exchange-listed companies. The result of this study contributes to academicians and practitioners in determining the corporate governance factors that can improve the performance of listed companies in China. The government, policymakers and C-suit management should focus on the governance factors that can benefit the company in a competitive business environment.
