Abstract

This study aims to determine the mediating effect of organizational commitment between personality and job satisfaction on the job performance of pharmacists in their own pharmacies. Respondents in this study were pharmacists working at their own pharmacies. The sampling method used accidental sampling. The data analysis technique used regression analysis, F-test, t-test, and Sobel test. The results of the analysis stated that: first, the personality of openness to experience, job satisfaction and organizational commitment influenced the performance of the pharmacist. Second, there were the mediating effect of the organizational commitment between job satisfaction and job performance of pharmacist.
