Abstract

Financial reporting and analysis practises have undergone significant modifications due to the accounting industry's digital transformation. This study examines digital transformation's impact on financial reporting and analysis by analysing the connections between technology adoption, data integration, skills and training, digital culture, and financial reporting and analysis. A 100-person sample size was used for a primary quantitative survey. The factors were measured using questionnaires using Likert scales. Regression analysis was used to examine the associations between the independent and dependent variables in the data. The findings showed that adopting new technology, data integration, development of new skills, and digital culture significantly improved financial reporting and analysis. The research shows how critical it is to use digital technology, integrate financial data well, provide proper skill development, and promote a digital culture within organisations. These elements improve decision-making ability, efficiency, and accuracy in financial reporting. The study offers helpful insights for organisations and accounting professionals looking to optimise their financial reporting and analysis practises in the digital age. In order to further improve understanding in this area, future studies should consider increasing the sample size and investigating new variables.
