Abstract

Researchers have observed a need for studies on how adequate staffing affects organizational performance in private universities in Sudan. The management of human resources in education plays a vital role in achieving learning outcomes and advancing society. This includes understanding the different recruitment methods, hiring, training, and retention of faculty and staff. It also includes strategies for motivating and inspiring them to ensure educational institution goals are met. This study examines the relationship between university staffing and university performance at Sudanese private universities. It fills a gap in the organization’s literature. Quantitative methods were applied to achieve the study objectives. Data were collected using a questionnaire from 360 individuals, both academic and non-academic staff at private universities, using SPSS for data analysis. The study's findings revealed a direct relationship between staffing and organizational performance. The study used a quantitative method to assess the impact of university staffing on university performance, which suggests that universities need to pay attention to their staffing levels to ensure optimal performance. Finally, limitations and future research directions are presented in this research study.
