Abstract

This pilot study examines the relationship between person–group fit and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), and the moderating role of spiritual intelligence among government servants at Wisma Persekutuan Taiping, Perak. Data were collected from 30 respondents using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS version 28. Descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation were conducted to assess construct validity and preliminary relationships among variables. Results revealed that person–group fit was positively associated with OCB, while spiritual intelligence demonstrated a significant moderating effect, strengthening the relationship between person–group fit and OCB. Reliability values exceeded the recommended threshold of 0.70, indicating satisfactory internal consistency. The findings support the feasibility of the instruments and analytical procedures for the full-scale study and contribute to the growing literature on workplace spirituality and prosocial behavior in public sector organizations.
